In about a month I will be 30 years old......
Life is CHANGING. So much will be different while, so much stays the same. And I'm feeling very tossed to and fro. My extended family has been going through a lot. Between chemo and losing loved ones, 2016 has been TOUGH!
So in these few days before the clock strikes midnight and I'm no longer in my 20s I've decided to do something that feels a little crazy.
No I'm not getting a red sports car lol
I've decided to commit to reading through the ENTIRE Bible in 30 days.
I know lot's of people do this. But I'm not sure those people have four children under foot! I know this will be challenging, and distractions will abound. But I think I'm up for the challenge. I NEED to hear from the Father. I need to be challenged and refreshed. So what better way to do that then spending the bulk of my time reading His Word?
Ok so my plan of attack is to read some every morning after dropping my hubby off, before getting on to any social media. Then leave early to pick him up so I can have at least 30 minutes to sit and read while waiting for him. My youngest two usually nap during that time so I'm hoping that will buy me some quiet.
Of course none of this may work out and I might end up frustrated and feeling defeated. But the reward if I succeed far out weighs the risk....
